This is a form of a witch hunt. Its sad that all those people were ran out of their town and killed. I cant believe some people are so cruel.
I would definitely say this is a witch hunt. People were pursecuted for practicing a certain religion and just bein themselves. It's absolutely cruel and sad. As I've said on like 60 other blogs I've done for this assignment, witch hunts are started and fueled by fear...and this holds true for this situation as well as the others I have commented on.

How sad? Defiantly an example of a witch hunts. Why do people kill others because of religion? Hitler, the Nazis, the Ku Klux Klan, and many more have killed people because of their religion and race. I bet they never felt guilty for killing those people because they thought they were doing the world a favor, but they weren’t.

Turks are dicks! I don't think that is a real witch hunt. Back in the day, mercantilism was popular and taking another nation was apart of the process. But cruel none the less.
