Witch Hunts (The Armenian Conflict)

The Armenian massacres were a series of brutal campaigns directed against the Armenian people in the Ottoman Empire, by Sultan Abdülhamid, in 1894-96, and by the Young Turk government in 1915 and 1916.

Witch Hunts (Apartheid)

The Dutch and English took up residency in South Africa, and decided that they had the right to push around the people already living there. They took away all of their rights and treated the blacks as if they were the invaders. Race laws touched every aspect of social life, including a prohibition of marriage between non-whites and whites, and the sanctioning of "white-only'' jobs.

Witch Hunts (Japanese Internment Camps)

During World War II, Japanese-Americans were targeted and put into Internment camps. They weren't allowed land to farm, and they weren't waited on in many restaurants. They were treated like immigrants instead of citizens, and they had no say in it. Anyone of Japanese decent were treated like aliens. Check out the link below for more information on this witch hunt.
